Bring your instrument and join a circle. Don’t play? That’s okay! We welcome everyone to join us for dinner or just grab a drink and walk around and listen. Second and fourth Thursdays are showcase nights for Southwest Virginia youth musicians or The Crooked Road venues from around the region.

In an effort to bring to Southwest VA the kind of craft fair one might find in a more urban environment, Jessica Jones has launched a series of street markets to be held in Downtown Blacksburg, VA.
The Burnt Creative Vintage and Indie Craft Market will feature local and regional vendors offering vintage and handcrafted clothing, jewelry, accessories, housewares, furniture, and much more. With the exception of June, all markets (April, May, September, October) will take place on Roanoke Street, between Draper Road and Otey Street, near the Blacksburg Farmers Market from 9:00am-3:00pm.

Ring in 2012 at Heartwood. Join us for a night of food, music and entertainment. 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. Music by Rich & the Po' Folks and Wayne Henderson & Friends featuring Jeff Little & Helen White. A silent auction of artisan work and other interesting products will take place during the event and the top bidder of the Henderson Guitar will be announced. $59 per person pre-event, $75 at the door. Ticket price includes heavy canapé style dine-around reception all night, cash bar, champagne toast, party favors and admission. Dress as you like! Reservations are encouraged.
