This trio from Washington County, VA specializes in lively Appalachian and Celtic music played on a variety of instruments - hammered dulcimer, Irish flute, whistles and bodhran, guitar, bass and banjo. They have played all over the region at venues like Bristol Rhythm and Roots, The Lincoln Theatre and Dollywood.

Grayson County Mt. Vale Vineyards began with a passion for the mountains and a dream of growing grapes and making wine. It has taken strength and patience to keep focused on the goal. With each bottle produced, we are living a dream. We hope you enjoy drinking our wine as much as we enjoy making it.
Grayson County Live music, wineries from the area offer a sampling their wines, and vendors all on the lawn (inside if it rains). Admission $10 - includes wine glass.
Washington County The Crooked Road’s Youth Music Series Performance at Heartwood Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 6 p.m. featuring Buchanan, Washington and Grayson County performers such as the PICK Program, Virginia Highlands Community College Old Time String Band and the Albert Hash Memorial Band Program. Admission is free but donations will be accepted for the musicians.
Grayson County The Independence Farmer's Market is open on Fridays from 9am to 1pm and Wednesdays from 4pm to 6pm each week from May 1 til the second weekend in October. Vendors at the market offer pasture raised natural meats, veggies and produce including heirloom varieties, baked and canned goods. Periodically craft and yard sale vendors join the market. Enjoy breakfast and lunch at the market with fresh quiche, muffins, brownies and a lunch special weekly.
