Lovill's Creek Lake Recreation Area

Carroll County owns this 55 acre flood control lake and the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries maintain a public boat ramp. The lake is stocked with largemouth bass, blue gill, sunfish, and channel catfish. Bank fishing and small electric motorboats are permitted. Also offered are handicap accessible barrier free boating and fishing opportunities. Boat access, pier fishing, and picnic shelters are all available. There is also a 1/2 mile walking trail. Open year round. The lake is below the crest of the Blue Ridge and is near the Blue Ridge Parkway.
