Over The Moon Gallery occupies the second floor of a Floyd County landmark, the Harvest Moon Food Store, in a spacious new cedar building situated on four beautifully landscaped acres on Route 8 just north of the stoplight. Over the Moon has become a must-see for visitors to the area. The new gallery is airy, bright, and welcoming, with twelve-foot ceilings, attractive flooring of wormy red oak, and a series of tall windows dramatically illuminating the displays. Soothing greenscape views through the ample windows provide a peaceful setting for browsing the outstanding local artwork. Over The Moon features many of Floyd's finest artists, as well as choice artists from around the country. These artists present an exceptionally broad array of styles and mediums, including painting, woodworking, pottery, metalworking, jewelry and more.
