Meet Our Artisans

Janet Sanborn Jonas

Accidental Artisan

Janet began sewing on a treadle machine as a young girl. She began quilting in 1990 as a means to relax but also to create beautiful things outside her engineering work. Janet uses geometric patterns with traditional or modern fabrics to create "hand quilted with an electric needle" wall hangings, quilts, bags, and other items. Commissioned and custom stitchery is also available.
