Imagine life 500 years ago. The Wolf Creek Indian Village will introduce you to the life lead by the Eastern Woodland Indians who inhabited the land 500 years ago. This recreated village is based on an actual archeological evacuation site. Interpretive guides will lead you on an exploration of skills needed by the inhabitants to survive and thrive. From growing essential gardens to hunting and skinning deer, the re-enactments will open your eyes to the life for the early Native Americans. The conventional museum exhibits artifacts from the actual site, various exhibits focused on the Eastern Woodland Indians. The exhibits are also enhanced with collections from across the United States.
